My float at Salt was the perfect escape on a dreary rainy Galway night. The whole experience was like being in an Oasis of calm. Nicola was so attentive and explained the whole process which put us as ease for our first float.The float pods are really spacious and I didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. I went in feeling really drained and highly strung and came out feeling refreshed and calm.Everything from ear plugs to towels, gorgeous shampoo and shower gel to herbal tea was provided. There are also hair dryers for after.The perfect serene escape just outside the city centre!

We had an amazing day experiencing the Girls Package at Salt , Nicola and Leanne were so helpful and couldn't have looked after us better!We got full use of the spa including saunas, cold plunge pool, salt floatation and compression therapy. It was such a relaxing experience and I would highly recommend for a girls day out!

I had an amazing experience at the Salt Float & Recovery Suites. Experienced the girls package which included a float, and use of all the facilities. Amazing attention to detail with the fruit platter and freshly squeezed orange juice. The experience was completely private for my 3 friends and myself allowing me to complete relax. Nicola and Leanne were so lovely and accommodating the whole time and where always there to help! especially loved the ice bath and sauna. Would highly recommend! Thanks so much!

I was passing through Galway after a sporting event and needed some recovery. I couldn’t be happier to have discovered this place ! Easy to book, park and the service was wonderful. The contrast therapy room was private and allowed for a relaxing experience. I highly recommend it if you’re in need of recovery time !

This was really nice for stress and helped me relax a lot! If you have blonde hair the salt can strip it a bit so would recommend using a blue shampoo after.

I did the 1 hour Salt Float therapy. It was amazing. The room was perfect. The float pod was enormous and everything was exactly as Nicola described. I was able to relax in the the chill out room after and have a cup of tea and just assess myself before leaving. Also, the location is ideal in Briarhill, no traffic to contend with and plenty of parking available. I have signed up for the membership now so I can go regularly

Went with my daughter for my first ever salt flotation. It has blown me away. I knew nothing about it before I went but loved everything about the experience. I just went into a deep state of relaxation. The place is super clean with an air of calm - like a very nice spa. Adrian and Nicola were so warm and welcoming and everything was so well explained I felt totally at ease.I hadn’t been sleeping great for a couple of weeks but the night after my float I had a most restful night’s sleep. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Felt so relaxed afterwards, and it's a really heavenly way of taking some time out. The chill out suite is so nice to go into afterwards to have a cup of tea and in no way are you rushed in or out. SALT is a 10/10 facility! Have done a float session and also the contrast therapy and loved them both. Really enjoyable experiences with so many benefits for the mind and body. The facilities are immaculate and have everything you need to enjoy your experience, including a complimentary herbal tea after your therapy in the relaxation room. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to visiting on a regular basis:)

From start to finish the experience was excellent - we left feeling relaxed, skin glowing and refreshed. We did the infrared sauna, float therapy and compression therapy. Staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and the check-in process was quick and simple. The facilities were very clean and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and have already been telling everyone I know that they need to book in.

I went to salt float & recovery suites after a long haul flight and had the best sleep of my life after doing the sauna and cold plunge. A great place to disconnect and focus on self care. The business is easy to find, has plenty of parking, and Adrian and Nicola are friendly, approachable, and provide a lot of information about the services they provide to help you select the best one for you. I highly recommend!

Hello, I just wanted to thank you for the salt flotation experience I had 2 weeks ago. Time wise it felt like I was only in the pod for half an hour! I loved the quietness and darkness, and felt very relaxed after. My Daughter Meabh engoyed her experience also, the only negative thing she said is, she would preffer music all the way through the session. Im not sure if the sound system can be linked up on bluetooth? This could help other people.I will be back again!! I had such a wonderful experience at Salt, Float & Recovery back in May 2022 - I was booked in on my birthday for the full experience: contrast therapy (cold plunge pool and Finnish sauna), compression therapy as well as the Floatation therapy and I left feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. It was better than any spa day I have ever been on! The facilities were clean and modern and the customer service was incredible - such attention to detail! The experience is incredible and is something that I would be delighted to try again.

My first time to have a salt flotation bath. It is super relaxing.I feel great after it, relaxes muscles and realises tension from the body.I had a compression session afterwards, for aches in my arms and legs.It got the blood flowing in those areas and I will have a repeat treatment in the future. Highly recommend it.

A great place for recovery and relaxation. I went for the Finnish Sauna which was very relaxing and eased some sore muscles. I then did the Floatation which was an incredible experience and highly recommended! The staff at the centre were knowledgeable and explained everything very well. Wow. Absolutely amazing experience from start to end. First time doing a salt float and I am hooked. It was the most relaxed I think I've ever felt.The tank and rooms were pristine clean, and there was such a gorgeous lovely energy in the whole place. Amazing relaxation room after the treatment with complimentary water/ herbal teas, books to flick through. Honestly was a ten out of ten experience. Cant wait to go back already!

I highly recommend floatation therapy at Salt Float and Recovery suites. I find floating great to destress, it is so relaxing. First time in a float tank. Been meaning to try for a long time. Amazing experience. Was hoping it would be a good destresser and mental reset which it was, but also it totally relaxed and released a lot of tension in my neck that no amount of massage or stretching ever helped. This was a great unexpected benefit. Felt so good afterwards. Got straight out and booked in for 3 more sessions! Really delighted to have this professional service and facility available.

What can I say, from the beginning, my experience at SALT was just brilliant.!!!.This is coming. from someone that would have a fear of water, and a little claustrophobic. Nicola was very competent at explaining how to use the Salt Pod, and reassuring that I would actually float.!! She also supplied a little head rest , which meant my head was raised out of the water., which was brilliant...When I actually relaxed and floated, I cudnt believe it was so refreshing... I could feel that the muscle tension was gone, and it was just so relaxing and stress free....The premises was sparkling clean , with everything supplied, right down to the cup of tea afterwards ...Adrian kindly took the time to ask about the float experience before we left.....Definately would highly recommend a visit to SALT,. I will certainly be back, and I wish Adrian and Nicola the very best of luck with their business...Ye are doing a great job, well done!!

My experience in salt was fantastic, I did the works bundle and it was the most relaxed I have been in a long time. Premises is very clean and welcoming, the experience was such a good escape. I tried Salt Float and recovery for the first time four weeks ago not knowing what to expect. Apart from being an exceptionally professional and serene environment with friendly and helpful staff, I found the floatation experience very fulfilling to recharge the batteries and to check in with your own body and mind. I heard of the service through a relative and would gladly recommend it to anyone enduring a hectic lifestyle, looking for a place to retreat and unwind, or for anyone who has gone through a difficult period throughout the pandemic. If you have the time I would also recommend getting a sauna in before a relaxing float.

Thank you for your warm welcome at Salt. I can honestly say nothing negative. This was my first float and it did not disappoint. A lovely chance for ' me time'. Thank you to Adrian and Nicola for the lovely chat, and to the lovely friendly lady at reception. This is a lovely experience that I hope more people get to enjoy. I will certainly be spreading the word!
